Thank you for visiting the art collection of our mother, Vivian Altman. Growing up with our mom’s vibrant paintings illuminating the walls of our childhood home, we developed a deep love for her abstract artwork at a young age. We have fond memories of watching our mom paint in her home studio as children, and being in complete awe of the bright colors that emerged from beneath her paintbrush. This feeling of wonder never left us.
While Vivian’s art spanned multiple decades, styles, techniques, and mediums throughout her life, her signature style featured striking colors and rich textures. To us, the bold and playful energy radiating from her creations has always felt like a warm hug. When speaking with other fans of her work, we’re always so pleased to learn that they have a similar response–that her art feels like a treat for both the eyes and the soul.
After Vivian passed away from cancer in 2017, we began managing the robust portfolio she left behind. We couldn’t be happier to share this collection with you all, with the hopes that our mom’s artistic talent and creative spirit will continue to make the world a more beautiful place.
A percentage of all proceeds will be donated to Ann’s Place, community-based cancer support, in Vivian’s memory.
All the best,
Gwen and Arielle
